Tomorrow morning is the World Suicide Prevention Day – Walk & Breakfast

πŸ’› Thursday 10 September 2026 at 7am

πŸ“ The walk begins on the banks of the Todd River at the corner of Leichhardt Terrace and Parsons Street and follows the banks of the river in a loop.

Join us as we come together to walk in solidarity, remember those we’ve lost, share stories and strengthen our connections.

β˜• 7.00am – Free hot cuppa from the coffee van
🚢 7.30am – Remembrance Walk
🌿 8.00am – Welcome to Country | Smoking Ceremony | Speeches
🍳 8.15am – Free breakfast

🌼 Everyone is invited to place a flower on our Remembrance Wall in honour of a loved one.

This event is a collaboration between the Mental Health Association of Central Australia, StandBy Support After Suicide and Thirrili - Indigenous Suicide Postvention Service, with support from Alice Springs Town Council.
