MHACA has been awarded a Gold badge for the Small Workplaces category, for having maintained a ratio of 40% of staff with a current Mental Health First Aid Certificate!
We’re proud to report that currently 16 of our 21 staff have completed Mental Health First Aid in the last three years.
The holiday season can bring joy to many, but it can also be stressful.
If you are finding this time of year challenging, reach out for support. Talk to friends or family or call one of these phone services available all day, every day. Make sure you check in on others if they are having a hard time.

Thank you to everyone who attended MHACA’s Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Training sessions throughout 2025. It’s so important that more people in our community feel confident and equipped to support someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
