Mental Health Worker of the Year

MHACA has been busy celebrating 2018 Mental Health Week. A highlight this year was recognition of the wonderful contribution Kath Broadbent has made to the mental health sector over many years. She was awarded Mental Health Worker of the Year by the Hon. Vicki OHalloran, Administrator of the Northern Territory at Government House on the 10th October 2018.

MHACA hosted the final Alice Springs Mental Health Professionals Interagency Network meeting of the year today, followed by a shared lunch to celebrate the end of 2025. Thank you to all stakeholders and staff who have participated throughout the year, to our guest speakers and to everyone who has contributed to the network over the years.

We look forward to continuing to nurture a space of collaboration and connection to support better mental health outcomes for people in Central Australia.
