Services for Carers

Carers NT is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for carers of The Northern Territory. A carer is someone who provides unpaid care and support to family members and friends who are living with a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue, or who are frail aged.

Nationally, there are 2.86 million unpaid family carers and that equates to 1 in 8 Australians who have some form of carer responsibility at any one time. It is likely that you will know a carer, be a carer or need a carer at some point in your life.
