Learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Parents are invited to a free 2-hour workshop to explore mental health and wellbeing at the Larapinta Child & Family Centre this Thursday 30 November between 10am and 12pm. No need to RSVP - just turn up.
