ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) – Alice Springs

Trusted by professionals, approved by the World Health Organisation and learnable by anyone, LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is the only workshop of its kind. Updated continually to reflect new knowledge, LivingWorks ASIST has been training people to provide suicide first aid interventions for 40 years.

ASIST teaches participants to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop—ASIST can be learned and used by anyone.

Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring a comfortable and safe learning environment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellations received up to 7 days before a workshop, the full fee will be refunded, or the payment can be held in credit for the next workshop. A fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations received within 7 days of a workshop. The full workshop fee will be charged for any non-attendance. Substitution is allowed, another person can fill a spot originally booked for someone else.
