I-ASIST – Alice Springs

Indigenous Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training I-ASIST provides a culturally relevant framework for participants to learn how to use a unique 6 task model to provide a suicide first aid intervention, work with someone to develop a personalised safety plan to keep safe for now and connect with further help. This course has been developed by First Nations people with First Nations facilitators, to provide culturally appropriate suicide prevention training.

All accredited training is available free of charge to pension card holders and Higher Education and VET students. Evidence of pension card or current student card required. For registration please email training@mhaca.org.au

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellations received up to 7 days before a workshop, the full fee will be refunded, or the payment can be held in credit for the next workshop. A fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations received within 7 days of a workshop. The full workshop fee will be charged for any non-attendance. Substitution is allowed, another person can fill a spot originally booked for someone else.
