January Group Activities Calendar

Highlights in January include Swimming activity every Tuesday and Wednesday of the month. Join us to stay cool over the hot month while getting some gentle exercise at the Alice Springs Town Pool. 

Weekend activities include Cinema, Ten Pin Bowling and Picnic at the Town Pool.

MHACA’s Drop-in Centre will be closed on Monday 27 January as it is a Public Holiday.

MHACA can also provide individual support and is a registered NDIS provider.

In addition to structured activities, a Drop-in Centre is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8.30am – 3pm, and Wednesdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

The Drop-in Centre is a welcoming space where people can connect with others and participate in activities. It provides:

  • a comfy lounge area
  • kitchen facilities
  • computers with internet access
  • activities such as music jam, healthy cooking and sports
  • musical instruments
  • laundry and bathroom facilities.

#InternationalWomensDay Equal Futures Fair is on Saturday 8 March 2025 5pm - 8pm at the Women's Museum of Australia, 2 Stuart Terrace, Alice Springs. There will be women-led craft stalls, local services information stalls, local musi­cians, pan­elists and guest speakers. Entry by donation with free healthy BBQ between 5pm-6pm.

This is a collaborative event between MHACA, Women's Safety Services of Central Australia, Central Australian Women's Legal Service, 8CCC Community Radio 102.1fm - Alice Springs & Tennant Creek, Multicultural Community Services of Central Australia, Relationships Australia Northern Territory, Women's Museum of Australia and Alice Springs Town Council with Northern Territory Government's support.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The theme for International Women’s Day 2025 is #AccelerateAction.

Does this include. Misdiagnosing us Females!!! Menopause should be one of the Topics of concern;💯LoL Usually treated with Antipsychotic drugs The other. Is Non Reporting of Criminal Offences.. Where the person is still alive & reoffending(Child.. Abuse) Support Systems need to be improved. For Woman..💖
