September Group Activities Calendar

The MHACA Group Activities program is a community based program which aims to improve the quality of life for individuals with mental illness by offering structured and socially based activities. MHACA hosted a Neurodiversity Training Day last week in collaboration with Anna Clarke from Divergent Futures. Anna shared valuable insights on neurodiversity-affirming practice and trauma-informed care for neurodivergent individuals.

Thank you to Anna for sharing their knowledge and experience and to the 45 attendees from local services who joined us to learn and promote more inclusive supports for our community. MHACA recognises the gap in the sector for training around neurodivergence and is committed to putting energy into hosting more training opportunities soon!
