MHACA Services During COVID-19

The Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA) is providing an essential service to people who have severe and complex mental health issues and will continue to support our participants through this difficult time.

At this stage all our programs, including the Day Program, remain open with increased hygiene and physical distancing measures in place.

Our hours of operation remain the same Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, and our Drop-in Centre continues to be open Monday 8.30am-1pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.30am-3pm at 14 Lindsay Avenue, East Side.

Some of our group activities have changed or have been modified. Participants can contact MHACA on 89504600 to book an activity or for further information.

MHACA is still accepting referrals and people can contact MHACA to organise an intake interview.

MHACA staff will also be visiting all participants in the next week with information packs and to discuss what supports they might need. If the MHACA office needs to close for a period of time MHACA will still support participants.

MHACA asks service providers and community members who need to come to the MHACA office to observe safety and hygiene measures, and please do not come if you are unwell or have returned from interstate or overseas travel within the last 14 days.
