Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid

The Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA) will be holding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (ATSIMHFA) training between 8.30am to 4.30pm on the 18th & 19th November at the ASYASS Training Room at Shop 7, Diarama Village, Larapinta Drive.

This training will teach you how to assist an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence based action plan. The ATSI Mental Health First Aid training is held over 14 hours and on completion you will have the option to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider.
